An Update....

Well I have kept fairly caught up on what the kids are doing, but I have failed to mention what "we" as a family have been up to since like April so here is a brief recap of the Burnett happenings...

We Bought a House...
and with it came a backyard...we have never had a back yard and couldn't be more thrilled...so here are some swimming in the wading pool pics.

Swimsuit model here we come...I will have you know I don't know where she learned to pose like this...but every time I want to take a pic she poses like this...I think I am in serious trouble.

The 4th...
waiting for the firewoks.
again with the posing...what is with this girl?

Fun in the Sun...
Playing at Round Hill Farm

Niagra Falls...

The Maid of the Mist boat ride takes you right next to horseshoe falls.
.

The Maid of the Mist was a bit misty...go figure...and pictures were hard to take. Cole refused to wear his poncho and wouldn't allow his mom one either so we got rather "misty- fied" as well..
Ready to go on the Hurricane deck...
Waiting for our turn...Cole was not allowed for this one so we went in shifts and had to do some heavy entertaining.
 Chasing the birds...

night time at niagra...I really wanted to see the lights on the falls, but we went to the wrong place and all we could see was the lights shining from Canada...oh well maybe next year.

Palmyra, New York...
Every Year our Church recreates the history of the church through the Hill Cummorah Pageant...we get to see a lot of church history sights as well.
Here we are at the top of the actual Hill Cummorah where we believe Joseph Smith found the plates to translate the Book of Mormon.
The Sacred Grove, where a 14 year old boy, Joseph Smith knelt and prayed and saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
Every year the actors come out in their costumes and interact with the audience before the show starts and every year we have to make sure we get a pic with Joseph Smith!
The costumes are so neat...this one is Laman...or Lemuel...one of the 2.

The whole thing was AWESOME...'nough said!
