Blogger Woes...

We were having a bit of trouble with blogger as of late and apologize for lack of blog and updated pics. of my family. I was finally able to fix it after I caught up from my lack of house cleaning during a rough 2 trimesters of morning sickness. For those that didn't already know, we are expecting a new addition to the family in May and found out after Christmas that we are having a baby girl. So we will be even steven...and I am thinking a good place to stop!..pregnancy has been even more evil than usual this time and I am pretty sure I never want to do it again. The holidays were great and the kids are doing well in school. Cole has, unfortunately entered the terrible two's stage and most days we stay at home because he is impossible to take anywhere. But all in all we are happy and well. I have been saving post drafts since August (so you might have to go back a few pages to get all of the new posts) and am so glad I can finally post them...so I hope you enjoy catching up and I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season!

Our First Pinewood Derby...

Jake started cub scouts this year and with that comes the Pinewood Derby! He had some big shoes to fill, his dad and uncles have all done really well, but he didn't disappoint... he placed first in his wolf pack and 4th overall and is on his way to districts in Feb. Way to go Buddy!

Jake is 8 and 8 is Great!..

Well 8 years ago, this little guy was born and changed my life forever. He still continues to amaze me and melt my heart.

Thankfully this big boy made the cake baking easy on me and asked for plain and simple carrot cake....ahhhh bless him.

In our church, we are baptized when we are 8 and so this birthday was extra special.

New scriptures! Thanks G and G Shrader!

We couldn't find any white pants to fit the poor kid, so they are ginormous, but he still looked great in his white.

With his dad getting ready to be baptized.

All the family that was able to come and be a part of this special event.
His baptism announcement

Snow...

We all got new sleds for Christmas, so we were so excited that the weather cooperated and gave us some snow. Even my mom took a ride down...never seen her do anything like that before...pretty cool.

Cole trying on his new church shoes before he got ready for sledding...

...now he's ready!
