Anna went in for her 12 month check and she is still as healthy as ever. She weighed in at 19 pounds (dangit, we can't turn her carseat around yet) and is 30 1/2 inches tall, which makes her 2 inches taller and about a pound and a half heavier than Jacob was at this age. She isn't as high on the percentage charts as she used to be though so maybe she will more petite than we thought.
Jacob is continuing to go to preschool and it continues to be a bit of a struggle. It is so funny because he loves it as long as I stay, but as soon as I even mention leaving it is a major freak out session, but he is doing better and he doesn't spend the majority of the day trying to negotiate his attendence. He even promised his teacher today that he will stay all by himself on Monday...we will see how far that goes, but for now I just try to remember that this is how Jacob is when it comes to change and new things and that he will come around like he always does. It just breaks my heart every time I have to leave and know how upset he is. It has been really fun to watch him in class...he is such a chatter box...I never would have guessed that a year ago...and he is a bit defiant when it comes to listening to his teacher...I should have known he would be like that, but I thought he might be different for his teacher, oh well, you just can't help but love him...he is just sooo cute!

Amanda! I didn't even know you had a blog! Probably because you have NEVER left a comment on my blog :) I was trying to visit my own blog, but accidently googled it instead, and your blog came up since you have us on your list. I found you out! Your blog is soooo cute, and I am soooo happy to be able to catch up with you and your adorable family. I can't believe Anna is 1! What a doll! And Jacob is so big! He sounds a lot like Georgey in how he is with Preschool. He cried for the whole first semester. But now he LOVES school. Way to be understanding and supportive of him though, lots of parents are not so much. Sorry to ramble. Hope you don't mind, but I now will be a frequent commenter on your blog!
What cute kids! Did you find another doc yet? That stinks that Anna is just under for the car seat thing...they are so much happier when they can see the world!
That's funny that Jacob is a chatter box. I would have never guessed that either! Wow, Anna is kind of tall for her age, isn't she? Go figure that both our girls are bigger than our boys (at this age that is)!
