Summertime...Finally...

Summer has been a long time coming so when it arrived we were itching to get out  We spent a great day at heritage park pretending to be pioneers...

Riding the train

Watching the blacksmith at work.

One of the best parts of summer...playing outside!

Last Day of Kindergarten...

Beginning of June....

Anna gave her first talk in Primary..she was sooooo excited and couldn't wait to get up there and give it. Here is how it went...
There once was a man who was blind.
He wanted to be healed.
Jesus could heal him if he had enough faith.
The man had enough faith and was healed.
When we have faith, we love Jesus and we follow His coimmandments.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
She was so proud of herself and so adorable.

Anna...

Unfortunatley, Anna hasn't had much going on, she is a good kid and happy , but she has been so bored lately...I feel so bad for her. So here is a pic of her so she can be included as well.

Baby Stats...

This little guy had his 4 month check-up today and he is still just as happy and healthy as he ever was. Weighing in at 15lbs 7oz and 25 inches long puts him in the mid-60's percentile...still a good sized baby. Coincidentally he rolled over for the first time, back to front, the day of his check-up and so did Jacob. Unlike Jacob, Cole rolled, front to back, for the first time 2 days ago. I have never had a kid roll front to back first.

A Lot of New Things Happening...

This handsome man has had some big things going on lately...On May 15th Wade was ordained a High Priest in our church and called to be the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric. For those that don't know exactly what that means...A high priest is one of the offices of the highest priesthood in our church they are given authority to lead a group. A Bishop is responsible for a ward (a few hundred members). Wade is 1 of his 2 helpers and with that comes a lot of responsibilty and a lot of time from home. Its all volunteer, as are all callings in our church. He is already doing so well and I can already see such a difference in him and in the blessings we have recieved because of his willingness to serve. Keep it up Wade...we love you so much!

The previous 2nd counselor Nathan and his his wife Emily.

The Three Piggy Opera. Jacob had his first School play on May 20th. It was adorable and he did such a great job. He had the opening line, "Welcome to our Kindergarten musical, The Three Piggy Opera. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!" He made my heart melt.

The very next day, we had a ward birthday party that I was in charge of, and Jacob was asked to play a special birthday song in a bell chior. When he was asked, the instuctor thought he was a little older, but said we could give him a shot at it anyways, and he did a great job, just as great as the older kids. He really impressed me with his attitude and willingness to practice so he could stay with the older kids...he is just growing up way too fast.

Another One Bites the Dust...

Almost exactly a week later... tooth #2 is gone. His top 2 teeth are loose as well, he'll be able to fit 4 straws through that gap.

The Tooth Fairy...

The Tooth Fairy arrived at our house Tuesday night because Jacob lost his 1st tooth!

Under the pillow it goes...

When he woke up he found 2 dollars, a note and his tooth...he really didn't want the Tooth Fairy to take it away and she listened.

Easter Fun...

The Annual Easter Egg Dye.

This year the weather man said it was going to snow on Easter egg hunt day so we opted for an indoor hunt at Hollywood Connection. It turned out to be pretty fun with face painting, balloon artists, and free rides for the morning. Not bad for free.

Cole was the only one brave enough to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Anna's First Year of T-ball...

We weren't really planning on putting Anna in T-ball this year but she got so excited when she saw the uniforms and hats we decided she might have fun. She loves playing with Jacob and being on a team coached by her Daddy.
