First Day of School 2013...

There are loads of pictures...I just couldn't choose...
Anna's first day of full day 1st grade.
Anna strikes a pose in her new clothes.
Handsome 3rd grader.

The bus stop
The bus stop crew
Cole pretending to go to school as well complete with backpack.
The third graders
Ahhh be still my heart.

They made it through their first day.
I am so mean...after they get off the bus I make them get in the van and go back to school so I can get a picture by the sign because they wont let us in the morning and the kids want to take the bus.

Jeff and Megan's Pittsburgh Reception...

I volunteered to make this cake because of my obsession with pinterest. I saw one like this and thought it was pretty and wanted to try it. I also had some great cake/frosting recipes I wanted to try out. So this one is choc. chip cake with a cookie dough butter cream filling and white fluffy butter cream for the roses. I think it was a bit sweet but pretty good none the less.

I think they are adorable and just perfect for each other.

I Can't Believe She is Three Months...

This little one continues to melt our hearts with her sweet little personality. She loves to coo, and smile at everyone and just loves attention but is really calm and good when she is on her own as well. She is still a pretty good sleeper only waking one or two times to eat and then she goes right back to bed. We just can't get enough of her...I say that a lot.

What would Kayla's month pictures be without an appearance by Cole.

Zoo Fun-dae...

Wade got free tickets from work to the Pitt zoo's Fun-Dae, a play on the word sundae, as in ice cream sundae because they had free hagan ice cream stations set up all over the park. Our faves were strawberry cheesecake and choc. chip mint. It was at night so we also got to enjoy a dinner buffet, an elephant petting, face painting, radio disney,  carousel rides and eatin park cookies all for free! BTW Jacob was there too he just refused to have a good time he was enjoying being grumpy instead.
Cole loves the elephants...you couldn't get him away, but I have to say knowing that my little ones were inches away from huge elephants made me a bit nervous.

Random Cell Phone Pics...Chill

Chillin at the playground waiting for A and J to finish flag football.
Sweet cheeks!
This is how I found Cole completely conked out after a very large temper tantrum.
love this baby!
We made this sign for her special daddy daughter date to the pirates game. Unfortunately it was only broadcast on ESPN in  non local areas so we could only watch on the roots sports channel. We'll know better next time...if there is a next time...after dropping Anna off  the rest of us were stuck in traffic for 3 plus hours hopelessly going around in circles trying to find a gas station and a place to nurse the baby. There was lots of crying and screaming and it wasn't just the baby and the 2 year old...thank heavens the 8 year old kept his calm...I think he thinks his mom had lost all sanity...she kind of did.
