Kayla's Baby Blessing...

I really hesitated to post these because of how large I look in them...baby Kayla really did a number on my body, but I am working hard to shed those lbs and so I will post for motivation and because this is just too important of a day not to.
I am so glad that my parents made the extra effort to stay for Kayla's blessing. It was a really special day except for the part where she was almost dropped, actually she more like leaped during her blessing...we'll just say she was jumping for joy.
I think the kids in these pictures are funny...I guess I didn't realize how bright it was outside.

Jake's Spring Ball 2013...

Jake loves playing catcher but didn't get the chance much because they had a small team and the catcher gets pulled first in coach pitch.

Jake hated playing pitcher and unfortunately he played it a lot.

Visit with G and G Shrader...

We had lots of activities planned for when grandma came. This is Anna getting her doc. gear on to get ready to make some stepping stones.

We went to Kennywood (our local amusement park)...
Cole tuckered himself out and fell asleep on the "eldent" ride. (Not sure why this pic is sideways I made sure I rotated it before I posted...oh well)...
We rode "mocycles"...
and gave Kenny the Kangaroo a hi-5.

We spent lots of time with baby. (see pic above...these pics are all screwed up.)
We also enjoyed the end of Jake's baseball season.

Jake's Last Day of 2nd Grade...

My parents came to help out with new baby and were here for Jake's last day of school and so Grandma walked him to the bus and I drove (still not feeling quite up to par) so I could take pics.

Anna's Last Day of Kindergarten...

Cole always had to bring his "eldent" or elephant back pack to get ready for the bus to come. The bus driver thought he was adorable.

Ice Cream and Sunday Dinners...

Every Sunday we hang at G and G Burnett's house for dinner and dessert...the kids love it when it is finally warm enough to eat ice cream on the deck.

Early Mornings with Kayla...

Right after I got Jake out the door for school, the rest of the kids chill at home in their jammies.

Things Worthy of Mention but Somehow Forgotten...

Most of these pics were from my cell phone, so they weren't put in a regular post. This is my favorite pic of Kayla minutes after she was born.
Grandma B. took Anna on a ride on a pony named Cookie
On May 1st Jake was playing pitcher and he caught a hard drive with his face. If it wasn't for the face mask he would have broken his jaw. I missed that game. The day the baby was born, Jake was at his grandparents house and he tripped and fell on the edge of and ottoman...he put his bottom teeth through his bottom lip and got 4 stitches. I of course missed that too as I was in the hospital. It makes you want to never let them out of your sight. Poor little guy...he was tough though!

Jacob also participated in a 2nd grade olympics (academic and athletic) and got a bronze metal in 2 events.
