Things Worthy of Mention but Somehow Forgotten...

Most of these pics were from my cell phone, so they weren't put in a regular post. This is my favorite pic of Kayla minutes after she was born.
Grandma B. took Anna on a ride on a pony named Cookie
On May 1st Jake was playing pitcher and he caught a hard drive with his face. If it wasn't for the face mask he would have broken his jaw. I missed that game. The day the baby was born, Jake was at his grandparents house and he tripped and fell on the edge of and ottoman...he put his bottom teeth through his bottom lip and got 4 stitches. I of course missed that too as I was in the hospital. It makes you want to never let them out of your sight. Poor little guy...he was tough though!

Jacob also participated in a 2nd grade olympics (academic and athletic) and got a bronze metal in 2 events.

Baby Kayla Newborn Pics...

So if you are thinking, "wow she got ripped off on her pics", don't feel that bad for me, as usual we are short on cash and we opted not to get newborn pis taken and try them ourselves. It took me over 200 shots to even get the lighting somewhat correct and I don't have many cute props, but I figured they were good enough and that we would just have to deal this time. I think she is beautiful reguardless of my photography skills.

Another Soccer Season Come and Gone...

So here in Pittsburgh, when you pay for soccer you pay for both the fall and spring season and you stay on the same team with the same coach for both. This year Wade had the opportunity to coach Jake's team. It was really neat to see how much he has improved in just one season. Last year he only scored once and this year he was one of the team's highest scorer. He also really enjoys playing keeper and his drop kick is awesome! So fun to see!

This was Anna's first year playing soccer and boy did she do a 180! She went from basically chasing after her teammates and running away from the ball to dominating the feild and being a top scorer. In this particular game she scored 5 goals. Really her improvement was like night and day. Funny what a little confidence can do.

Anna was so pumped daddy got to sub coach her last game.

She scored on this play.

Did you notice Cole's presence in the handshake line?..always has to be a part of the game.

So this little guy has been enjoying all his big bro and sis' games...he just wishes he could play too, so to distract him from going on the feild, I was snapping some pics of him. I like how in the 2 minutes of shooting, his hat changes position 3 times. Above: Hat backwards

Hat Forward...that ball hit me by the way.

Hat to the side...this kid cracks me up.

Baby Kayla..

Her cheeks were so swollen at first and Wade could get enough of them.
Grandpa B with his 5th grandbaby girl.
Cole fell instantly in love with her and is still obsessed with her...maybe a little too much.

Anna so happy to have a new member of team girl.

I like this pic because Cole would hold out his hands and say, " I have it" like she was a toy, I think he still thinks she is a toy. He is struggling with the meaning of the words soft and gentle.

First bath

Proud Papa
Wade's work sent us a really cute cookie boquet...so nice of them.
Jake was unsure if he wanted to hold her at the hospital, but he was more than willing when she came home.
I think this pic is funny because her face mmatches her hat.

Grandma B so happy to have a grandbaby born close to home.

Kindergarten Grand Finale...

I had the privledge of helping plan Anna's end of the year bash. It was on May 10th, just a few days before my due date and even though I wanted this baby out in a big way, I was secretly hoping I would get to go and I am so glad I did. This is the fishing booth I was in charge of building...way harder than I thought it would be with my very pregnant, water-logged body, but I was pleased with the outcome.

The party was beached themed and Anna went all decked out...I think she was beautiful!

Christian (in orange) is Anna's litlle crush for the year.

Move those hips!

Anna's favorite gal pals.

Go to Work with Dad Day...

When Wade told Jacob that he could come to work with him for a day Jacob was stoked! He got his own bag ready (just like dad) filled it with toys and work-like things. Wade's office was well prepared for the day with scavenger hunts, movies, photo shoots, GNC smoothies, and a mock GNC store they could play in complete with a lunch out with daddy and co-workers and co-kids. Sounds like they had a good time and Anna is still mad that you have to be 8 to go.
