Jake is 8 and 8 is Great!..

Well 8 years ago, this little guy was born and changed my life forever. He still continues to amaze me and melt my heart.

Thankfully this big boy made the cake baking easy on me and asked for plain and simple carrot cake....ahhhh bless him.

In our church, we are baptized when we are 8 and so this birthday was extra special.

New scriptures! Thanks G and G Shrader!

We couldn't find any white pants to fit the poor kid, so they are ginormous, but he still looked great in his white.

With his dad getting ready to be baptized.

All the family that was able to come and be a part of this special event.
His baptism announcement

Snow...

We all got new sleds for Christmas, so we were so excited that the weather cooperated and gave us some snow. Even my mom took a ride down...never seen her do anything like that before...pretty cool.

Cole trying on his new church shoes before he got ready for sledding...

...now he's ready!

Squanto's Silly Spaghetti Feast...

I kind of skipped over thanksgiving...not much excitment going on there, but we had a nice dinner with Wade's parents...no stomach flu this time...and I got to help at Anna's feast. Wade also got to go to turkey luch with Jacob at His school, but I don't have his phone so I will have to try to get that pic. later.

Photo Shoot...

So Wade bought me this fancy schmancy camera so I could take some pics of the kids without breaking the bank for studio pics, I am still not that great at it, but here is my attempt.

And an extra pic of Cole in his Chiefs gear just for grandpa.
