T-Rex Restaraunt...
Zach and Beth Ann's Reception...
The reception was really fun with good food and dancing. Anna loved her 2nd bouquet of event, she carried everywhere.

Infact we couldn't get him to stop, he was even dancing to the car, and now we catch him doing it all the time at home. He's kind of got an Elvis/Michael Jackson thing going on...it's pretty cute.

The venue was a really pretty country style carraige house. The kids loved looking for wildlife we're not used to here in Utah, like lizards and frogs and lovebugs in abundance.

Anna and Grandpa Dancing
We could get Anna to dance right from the start and she loved it...Jacob was a bit harder, he downright refused until his dad bribed him with $10 to spend at Disney World...that did it, he was dancing fool.

Our Labor Day...
For Labor Day we were able to go to Wheeler Farm for a picnic with Wade's extended family to celebrate his Grandma's Birthday, unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures of the rest of the family, so hopefully I will make up for it later. We also got to go to a Salt Lake Bee's baseball game with our friends Dan and Darcy and their 2 little boys and also with Wade's brother Devin and his wife Brit. It was a pretty good day...just nice to be together and do something as a family.

First day of Kindergarten...
Can I tell you that taking your first child to Kindergarten is one of the wierdest feelings...so much different than when they go to preschool. With preschool it still feels like they are yours, but dropping them off at a place that's going to take up a large amount of their time for the next chapter in their lives was sad, exciting, and scary all at the same time. But we are really looking forward to seeing what kind of person Jacob is going to become and the things he is going to learn!
Pictures by the house (with apples in hand)

Walking up to the school, he was starting to get nervous now (notice the apples still in hand)...

Waiting to go in, sitting next to Nick...(still with the apples)
First Day of Kindergarten (part 2)...
Following his classmates into the classroom..

Finding his name tag next to his teacher Mrs. Adams

Following directions already..."find a book and a place to sit"!

We didn't get many details, but they did read the Gingerbread Man, got to find gingerbread cookies, decorate and eat them, they sang a song about elephants sitting on them, and of course, they got to go out to recess. I think this will be a good year for Jacob!

Camping...
We finally were able to go on our family's first camping trip. We have been trying to go for the last few years, but never seemed to squeeze it in. We went to Rockport Resevoir up near Park City and had a lot of fun except for some foul mouthed neighbors who stayed up until at least 2:30, so not much sleep for the adults, but the kids slept great! We are so glad we were finally able to go!

I finally uploaded my new camera's software so I could get my pictures off it. So the next 8 posts are a catch up of our summer, in no particular order.
