New Camera...
Wade decided to get a "graduation" present for me too...I guess because it was a hard 2 years for all involved. Anyways, its a Nikon D5000 and I have absolutely no idea how to use it, so I have been playing with it for the last few months trying to figure it out...I am getting a bit better, but I think I am just gonna have to take a class...oh well, hear are some of my "play" pictures...

Graduation Day (Finally)...
So after 2 very long years, Wade graduated with his MBA at the U of U. We are all very glad to be done and to move on with life and we are very proud of our "Man of the House" and can't wait for him to reclaim his position in our home. Awesome job Wade, we love you so much!

Computer Class Graduation...
On April 28th Jacob had his computer class graduation, he was the only one who was hesitant to get up there to be recognized by his classmates, but Ms. Marj is very kind and very persuasive and got him to get up there without conflict.

Ms. Marj, probably one of the nicest ladies I have ever met, lovin' on Jacob.

Princess Jewels...
So we went to DI (basically a Goodwill for those not from Utah or Idaho) to get rid of some stuff and somehow the kids conned us into looking at the toys and we came home with a truck and a Disney Princess game with jewels, so here is the fam. being pretty pretty princesses! PS I didn't get a picture of it, but when Jacob put on the clip-on earrings, he put them on the top of his ears so he looked kind of alienish. Anna, however, knew exactly what to do with them.

The Little Girl...

So Jacob and Anna have a little friend in our neighborhood, her name is Abby. Jacob calls her "the little girl" (if any of you are fans of Charlie Brown, you will remember his infatuation with "the little red-haired girl"...this is very similar.) Since it got warm outside (the last week or so) they have played together everyday and they have so much fun. Unfortunately, Abby doesn't usually come out until 4:30 or 5 so Jacob stares out the window for the majority of the day waiting for the little girl, every 5 seconds he asks if she is outside yet and then throws a fit because she isn't there. Man, I thought I was going to going to go crazy, but it got so much worse. Because Jacob has a problem with listening to his father, he got in trouble and was not aloud to play one day, you would have thought we had almost killed the poor boy. He was devastated, crushed, and a complete terror the entire day. Honestly, I almost let him go play for my own sanity's sake...it was awful, but sort of funny now. Oh well!

Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum...

For anyone who didn't know already...Jacob loves dinosaurs and as soon as he knew that Grandma and Grandpa were going to take him, his Mother has had some awesome leverage to help encourage his good behavior. It was pretty fun, they both enjoyed digging for dinos and playing in the wet sand to look for plastic dinos. I think the T-Rex was his favorite by far! So now we have been to 2 dino parks and I think I like Ogden's the best still. I think it is better for younger kids but it is outdoors and in Utah well, sometimes the weather just doesn't permit it.
Easter...

I have always loved Easter, it can be fun like Christmas minus all the stress! Here we are dying eggs, setting out carrots for the Easter Bunny, and finding our baskets. We celebrated on Saturday so my parents could be here which was really nice, then we were able to focus on the real meaning on Sunday and also pay more attention to the LDS general conference.
The Zoo...

My parents (and a special treat, my brother Zach) always come to town for my mom's spring break and they always do such fun things wit our kids, but one of their favorites is the zoo. The kids had a blast of course! Sad Note: the day we went was the same day that the baby giraffe died...we couldn't figure out where he was or why the giraffe house was closed. Later, on the news we found out why, it was failure to thrive or something like that. Jacob was really upset about it, for some reason he thought he was going to die to (maybe because it was the baby). He asked his dad "If Heavenly Father wants to come and get me, can I just pretend to die." How cute and sad that is all at the same time. Poor Thing.
